Yesterday’s makeup preview with this beauty, Karli! She showed me a photo of another time she had her makeup done for a wedding that she didn’t like. She said she wasn’t sure what she wanted and just let the makeup artist do Whatever you think looks good. She ended up with a very dramatic Smokey look. I giggled and told her, You know, I bet that makeup artist was so happy that she had you in her chair, because you do have these amazing big eyes, that she just couldn’t wait... to do something dramatic and fun. It’s true, we see people with features that we are like OMG you have the best lid space for eyeshadow, but it’s not about what kind of art we want to create. It’s about making the client feel beautiful, comfortable, & confident. So before your preview!
