A friend asked me about STUDIO BACKGROUNDS the other day. Here is the short of what I told her. She wanted to know the difference, which one was better a Muslin Material background or a paper background. This was my explanation:

You can use either one, they both can work well depending on your applications and expectations on your end results. Esthetically they each give you a different viewpoint, an entirely different look and feel. It can really depend on who your client is, what they want to accomplish, their overall concept and the outcome of the photographs that they would like to achieve.
