There is nothing I can say or do to fix what has already happened. I can, however, say and do things to help prevent this from continuing. I will be educating myself. I will be listening. I will be changing. #blacklivesmatter

I know everyone is feeling the stress and uncertainty of the current situation, but I have been so overwhelmed by all of the good coming out of this! People are reaching out to family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers to see how they can help. Teachers like my cousin @emilygaylordmusic are offering virtual classes, sing-alongs, and storytimes to help both students and parents during this time (link to her youtube in my bio!) Businesses are taking care of their employees..., and customers are taking care of small businesses. People are waving to each other on the street (from a safe 6 feet away!) when they would normally avoid eye contact. There is so much good happening out there. If you are feeling scared or lonely, take a moment to look around and find the good. Then turn around and be the good. . . .
