Have you wondered what the term Foiayage meant and why you may need it? Foilayage is a technique that is used to give a balayage effect, but with foils. When we look at a brunette client's hair, like Ellies here, we see brightness that is obviously a few shades lighter than her natural hair and not orangey-brassy. ... - We see a soft gradient effect from top to bottom creating a ombre effect. - We see some of her natural all through out giving a balayage effect. This type of color result can only be achieved on a brunette with foils and not the traditional balayage. Why? because a balayage effect will always be warm! It does not matter how dark or light your hair is, balayage will always be a warmer result than what you get with foils. Balayage is only meant to give a natural sun-kissed effect to the hair, allowing up to 2 levels of lift, like as if you spend all summer in the sun. Foils give a brighter effect because they conduct heat to push your hair lighter than it would with balayage. You can achieve 3-4 levels of lift with foils. So Foilayage is basically a Balayage "look", but using foils for that extra lightness that Balayage will not give you. If you are wanting a beautiful foilayage this spring, just click the link in my bio to jump on my waitlist. . . . . . . #invisiblebeadextensions #santarosahairstylist #santarosaextensions #santarosastylist #santarosablonde #santarosasalon #santarosabalayage #downtownsantarosasalon #downtownsantarosa #sonomacountyhairsalon #sonomacountyhairstylist #sonomacountyhair #sonomacountyhairextensions #luxuryhairstylist #dimensionalblonde #bayareahairextensions #northbayhairstylist #bayareahairstylist #bayareabalayage

This is Monica.... Monica, like many woman, has been experience thinning hair with age. She loves to have brightness in her hair, but fears breakage because of how thin her hair has gotten. Can you relate? I sure can. Monica just got the hair of her dreams and a boost of confidence with 2 rows of IBE Extensions. Look at how much brighter, thicker and longer her hair is with just 14" hair. Monica doesn't need to have mermaid hair to feel gorgeous. She just needed a little love... to her mane to get back to her awesome self. Show of hands who wants to be like Monica? If you are wanting to enhance your mane for Spring 2021 like Monica here, and start your hair journey with IBE Extensions fill out my hair extension form on my website.

Subtle changes can make a big impact. Have you been wanting a color change but at little unsure of what to do with that "2020 Grow Out"? I gave my client a handful of strategically placed foils (my glow up highlights) to give her grow out some much needed love. ... Focusing on her "Money Piece" (that bright, yet subtle pop around the face) to draw attention to her face and give her that brightness she wanted to see, but leaving the right amount of depth through out. This service is the best for subtle change, but leaves a big impact. If you are wanting some color change when salons are allowed to reopen (hopefully sooner rather than later) jump on my waitlist (found on my website).

Hey Everyone Here is a little video of how I like to get an at home quality blow-dry. I show you different techniques using 3 different brushes. The #1 key to a good quality blow-dry is definitely hair products!... Here are the three essential products you need for any blow-dry/style. 1) Heat Protectant - Whatever kind you decide to use, make sure you always apply before you do any heat styling. I like to use mine before I blow-dry and before I curl. 2) Blow-dry Cream, Serum or Spray - This can come in different forms, but is used to smooth the cuticle, speed up the actual blow-dry timing and have mild hold to help with styling. I personally love to use all kinds. I like a cream, love a serum and can seriously enjoy a good spray. LOL 3) Finishing Product - There many forms of finishers like a texture cream, texture spray, serum, oil or hairspray. Depending on the finish look, my go-to is using anything T E X T U R E. I love a very texture-y look to my hair. If you are needing any product recommendations just PM me and I'd love to help you find your new go-to products.
