This past week was a whirlwind!!!!!!!! We spent 3 days in Las Vegas at Market and found many new lines and spent way toooo much money! Then came back to find tons of messages from new clients that want our services And yesterday was the busiest day we have EVER had on both the Design side and Storefront side. Fridays are for entertaining!!!!! ... This sitting room was created because our client wanted a room for herself. This insanely gorgeous bar is ready for entertaining and these luxury fabrics are ready for some girl time! This room was designed by Michelle and I. ... @rowefinefurniture

Yesterday's kitchen light is now looking into the the living room... And this living room has gorgeous sconces and a special piece of art.

We are loving this gorgeous light we installed last week! Sometimes a new fixture is what a kitchen needs to feel updated.

Let's talk... ~ It all began in 1999 when I finished my schooling in Interior Decorating while staying home with my kids. Back then I sent off design project boards through the mail! I began to decorate my friends and neighbors houses, my career slowly began. I had a small business that paid for groceries and other small things we needed. Fast forward to my teenage children and private school, that pushed me to work for Red Door Interiors for 4 years to help pay tuition. I ...built an amazing clientele base and worked very hard. Then my life started a season of loss....alot of loss. After my Mom died, I decided it was time to open my own business again and I left Red Door in 2014. I worked out of my home, then slowly had to get up to 4 mini storages (it grew so fast) and then finally opened my Design Studio in 2018. I had two part time employees (they left), then hired Whittany my first full time employee. It was just us two for almost two years....then in 2020 we opened the Storefront and I hired Debra, then Michelle and along came Dawnielle and Fernando. The business has grown fast, keeping up with it has been a learning experience for sure! I'm so blessed and so overwhelmed. So here we are, ready to make some more decisions. Tomorrow is our next move. P.S. Thank you Bakersfield for trusting me with your homes, I've left a little piece of my heart in each one.

I get so excited when new fabric books arrive and have to show everyone all the inspiration. Rodney is always so nice to act like he is interested! Secretly, he has amazing style and could probably design a room after being married to me all these years! You're welcome Honey!

Something fun happened! .... My lifelong friend Gregory Porter asked if I would stylize his kitchen for the filming of a new project he is working on. It was a pleasure to place some items from @archerthestorefront in his kitchen and it was a blast reminiscing about our school days together. Thank you Greg for trusting me and for such a great time. Rodney and I can't wait to see the final product. .... @gregoryportermusic

I'm obsessed with cute pillows! OBSESSED!!!!! I love custom making pillows with beautiful fabrics but I also adore the fun pre-made ones we stock @archerthestorefront ... My favorite part of each day is coming home. No matter how stressful and busy my day is, home is always waiting for me. Do you feel the same way?

I don't know about you, but when I love something it never gets old. These wood finials and ginger jar I bought years ago and remain some of my favorite things. P.S. I also adore my antique secretary ~~~ What's your favorite thing in your home?

I'm easing into this Monday, knowing this week is loaded! I have 3 housecalls and 2 installs while planning for next week's Las Vegas market. Wish me luck friends

Last week's install was long in coming, our clients waited 5 months! They were patient and thrilled with the reveal. .... During the wait we helped with new paint, new flooring, powderbath wallpaper, installed a new kitchen backsplash and added all new lighting. Then.... We installed 2 living areas, 1 fun/kids room, 1 sitting room, 1 master bedroom and added gorgeous bedding to an existing bedroom. ... .... Keep watching all week for each space. See more

Remodels have been non-stop this year! Kitchens are always the #1 remodel we do, 3 working at this moment! Do you need a kitchen remodel?

In a simply white kitchen, there should be one thing that draws the eye. The stools are the anchor here and brings the natural element in to warm the space. I carried the natural wood around with accessories for balance. So good!
