Residents Impacted by the Fires, the LOCAL ASSISTANCE CENTER is HERE FOR YOU! The City of Santa Rosa and the County of Sonoma are opening a Local Assistance Cen...ter which is a one stop location where those affected by the Sonoma County fires can go for essential resources and assistance. Representatives from City, County, State and Federal agencies will be available. Residents and business operators can prepare now for this opportunity by collecting any personal documentation and paperwork they may have available, such as insurance policy numbers, birth certificates, driver’s license, social security card, passport, veterans’ information, etc. It is helpful to have this information available but not required in order to receive assistance. Where: Press Democrat Building in Downtown Santa Rosa at 427 Mendocino Ave, between Ross and 5th Streets. Time: 9:00am to 7:00pm, daily for at least two weeks The LAC is accessible by Sonoma County Transit and CityBus via route 1. Parking is free off of B Street in the city lot.
