Dr. Kajioka and staff are excited to announce that our doors are open and we are seeing patients for eye exams by appointment only. Friday appointments are available with our new doctor, Dr. Lee. Curbside dispenses of glasses and contact lenses are being offered as well. As the health and safety of our patients and employees is our top concern, we do require that masks be worn in the office and temperatures will be taken at the door. We also ask that no additional friends or family come with the scheduled patient at this time. We are so excited to be back in the swing of things! A big thank you to Dr. Kajioka and Jenn for spoiling me on my 25th Anniversary of employment! Thank you to all of you that sent me kind words. At times it doesn't feel like 25 years until a patient says "you have been here a long time"! COVID-19 UPDATE: As we gear up to slowly start the reopening of my practice I want to assure you that we are doing everything we can think of to keep ourselves and patients safe. We will continue to practice the following enhanced protocols: Our office will continue to be sanitized between patients and hand sanitizer will be provided; Trial frames will be sanitized and cleaned between patients; Social distancing; Only those with scheduled appointments will be allowed in the ...office at this time (Please leave family members and friends at home including children); The waiting room is essentially closed. Those who cannot drive, we kindly ask your driver to wait outside during your office visit; Masks will be required to enter the office; We will offer curbside assistance for dispenses and adjustments; Dispenses and adjustments by appointment only; We will use telehealth when applicable; Temperatures will be taken upon arrival and anyone with 100.4 or above will kindly be asked to reschedule to a later date, after 14 days; I will be reducing the number of exams to half the amount to ensure social distancing can be followed; We will be washing our hands often, wearing face masks to protect us all, sanitizing the air and surfaces (including door handles) and making your visit as comfortable as possible during this transitional period. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time. I will continually monitor and assess the situation and make changes as needed to our protocols. Due to the ongoing issues facing us with the Covid-19 virus and after much consideration, beginning March 20th we will be rescheduling all routine eye care and regular office visits through April 6. We will have limited hours for those needing pick up glasses or contact lenses. Office hours will be 9:30-4:30 Monday through Thursday as of now.
