Covid-19 Corona Virus Notice To our dear Kaio Family, As you know, our society is battling a crisis that we have never encountered in COVID-19.... Over the weekend, we have researched as much as possible on this virus. Although there are many questions, there are only a few answers. The Covid-19 virus spreads primarily through contact with an infected person when they cough or sneeze, or through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose. Asympotmatic carriers can be people who have the virus without showing any symptoms and spread it to people that may be very vulnerable. As of now, the curve of the virus and it's growth is disproportionate. It is exponentially growing. As a country, we are trying to flatten the curve with Social Distancing by requesting government buildings, schools, sporting events, and local businesses to temporarily close until more information becomes available. As recommended by the California Dental Association, we have decided to reduce our office capabilities for non-elective dental treatment, including cosmetic treatments and cleanings. WE WILL STILL BE OPEN for limited treatment and emergency care. This was a very difficult decision to make as we love treating and seeing YOU,our patients, day to day. But as always, the overall health of our community is our main priority. We feel that it is in the best interest of our dental families, friends, patients, and society. Covid-19 Corona Virus Notice Dear Kaio Dental Family and Friends: We want to lend our sympathy to those affected by COVID-19 Coronavirus.... Our office has and always will strive to keep our patients and staff healthy by offering high quality dental care with convenient and extended hours. At this time, we have no plans to restrict our hours or services. We also want to update you on the precautionary measures we have taken to protect the health and safety of our patients and team: Cleanliness We have a stringent hand washing routine and glove use policy along with our usual and thorough OSHA compliant standards, we are taking additional measures to keep our patients healthy, and free of concern. Cleaning stations are used by our staff to ensure frequent and thorough hand-washing. We also disinfect critical and high traffic surfaces (doorknobs, chairs, equipment, tables, shelves, countertops, bathrooms, etc.). When to Reschedule In an effort to remain open during normal hours, and to keep our staff healthy and do our part in helping to stall the spread of COVID-19, we kindly ask any patients who are currently experiencing the following symptoms to call and reschedule their appointments: -Fever -Cough -Shortness of Breath -Chills -Have been exposed to the flu, cold or COVID-19 -Have traveled outside of the United States within the last 2 months to countries that are affected by COVID-19 Emergencies If you are experiencing any of the above listed symptoms, and need emergency dental care, please visit your local ER as they are better equipped to serve you while also helping to contain the COVID-19 virus. Updates We are closely monitoring updates from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) to ensure we're prepared and taking necessary precautions to address this evolving situation as the health and safety of our patients and our team is our top priority.
