Sugar might feel good for a moment, but boundless energy and stabilized moods are the long-term goals. Sugar occurs naturally in some foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and grains. Consuming whole foods that contain natural sugar is okay. Since your body digests these foods slowly, the sugar in them offers a steady supply of energy to your cells. A high intake of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains also has been shown to reduce the risk of chronic diseases, such as diabetes, heart disease, and some cancers. Make sure to read labels and avoid the added sugars that manufacturers add to products to increase flavor and shelf life.

WAIT! there's been a recount and we have a NEW 3rd placer winner...KAIA FIT ROSEVILLE coming in with a time of 13.45 and 1055 reps all together! WOW! We've just wrapped the past 6 weeks of our HIIT the RESET BRIK and we are beyond excited to announce our annual Kaia Cup champions! Every year, each location selects a Dream Team to compete for the bragging rights (and a super cute trophy) of a workout involving LOTS burpees, double unders, push-ups, squats and sit ups. Oh, and... just a teeny bit of running With that said, we would like to announce our 2nd and 3rd place winners (TIED)! Kaia FIT Vacaville AND Woodland Dream Team! Our Woodland Dream Team finished with a time of 9 minutes, 45 seconds and 834 total reps! Way to CRUSH IT ladies! But don't forget! Our Vacaville Dream Team came in with a time of 13 minutes, 45 seconds and 2,654 reps...WHAT?!??!? Those Double Unders were INSANE!! Congrats ladies, you were a sight to behold. NOW, Drum roll please for our FIRST PLACE WINNERS: DREAM TEAM FROM Kaia FIT Santa Clarita!!! These hardworking ladies have been prepping for the Cup over the Q and worked HARD, with a time of 7 minutes, 34 seconds and combined reps of 874!! WOW! Way to go ladies!
