Our favorite frenchie Mars is back with us for a refresher while his parents are out of town! We enjoyed having having him when he was a puppy, and he's grown so much! He's a great boy - we love a well behaved bulldog.
Rocco the cane corso pup is growing so fast - and loves learning new things! Looking forward to watching him grow up to be an awesome dog.
Chief is a giant boy at just eight months old and is a lot of dog. He's here for a 30 day board and train. Chief is a very pushy guy and uses his size to try and get what he wants which includes jumping all over people, barking in the house and intense lunging at other dogs while on leash. We are looking forward to helping his owners have a better relationship with him when he goes home!
Nellie is doing fantastic during her puppy board and train program. She's learned all of her basics, got in lots of socialization and explored many new places. It's incredibly important to set the bar high when getting a new dog - invest in the training, get reliable obedience, perfect leash manners and set boundaries. Dog's thrive on the structure and love training - it's also a fantastic way to create a strong bond. Like many labs, their deep love for every human and dog can create a very spastic dog who develops some bad behaviors. We are glad Nellie is going to be a well trained and balanced girl!
Tifa is an adorable cane corso pup who just started training with us. The girl is so smart and has a wonderful temperment!
Nellie is a four month old black labrador puppy who is here for our board and train program. She's a very high energy drivey puppy who needs to channel all of that energy. We are teaching her a solid foundation of obedience, loose leash walking and lots of impulse control. She also is a very busy pup in the house so we will be working on having her just learn to relax.
Josie is a sweet and sensitive girl who is here for our three week board and train program. Josie struggles with some territorial behavior in the house, and leash aggression towards new people and dogs while on walks. We are going to set a solid foundation for this smart lady and curb these behaviors by helping her make better decisions.
Our fun little guy Nemo went home today after a six week stay! We worked on his reactivity, obedience and advanced recall - it's been a game changer for this boy who now can walk through the busy streets of San Francisco or go sit with his owners and enjoy outdoor dining. No matter the size, every dog needs training or bad habits can set in. We are so happy to see the progress he's made!
We are out of town until Sunday night and will have limited email access - for any urgent matters feel free to text us. We will be in touch as soon as we return! Have a wonderful week.
Tucker is a recent graduate of our puppy board and train program. He's grown so much since the last time we saw him and is doing fantastic in his role as a shop dog! Now that he's a bit older we are now advancing his training even more and working on getting him fully reliable off leash. One of the most important things we can teach to our dogs is to come back to us when off leash no matter the distance or distraction.
Rocco is an awesome cane corso puppy who started training with us! He's already incredibly smart and we are looking forward to watching him grow and his ongoing progress!
Henry is a young australian cattle dog who was recently adopted from @bestfriendsanimalsociety in Utah. He's adjusting to life in the bay area, and has been dealing with some leash reactivity and separation anxiety. We are focusing on his engagement and instilling some obedience to help this cute boy make better decisions around other dogs.
Cali is a four month old cattle dog mix who just joined us for a board and train. This super cute gal is here to learn loose leash walking, obedience, how to settle indoors, and more controlled socialization with dogs. It's especially common for the herding breeds to get easily overstimulated so impulse control is key to preventing a lot of unwanted behaviors.
Max is an awesome two year old ninety pound german shepherd who we have been training with for several months. When his owner's first got him, he was unruly, had no house manners, was scaling fences and no one could walk him on leash as he was just too strong. Max has come such a long way and can do so much more now with some training under his belt. His people are so commited to his ongoing success - and it's been a joy to work with them.
