The June Lake Chamber of Commerce, Ernie’s Ski & Tackle, and Dan's Guide Service are working with local businesses to raise money to supplement the fish stocking efforts of the Dept of Fish and Wildlife. Why help out a state agency? DFW, for various reasons, cannot promise our lakes very many hatchery fish this year. June Lake businesses are stepping up to ensure that plenty of trophy trout will be planted in our local waters. This effort began last season with a few business...es placing donation containers in their stores, and this year more of our awesome business have joined in this effort. Jeremy Ross, Owner of Ernies Tackle and Dan Lengning, owner of Dan’s guide service, are passing out the buckets in the hope that this upcoming fishing season will be memorable for our locals, businesses, and our guests.
