Iconic musical genius, Elvis Costello, released this song in 1977 on his debut album "My Aim Is True." He claimed the song was written as an ode to a woman he saw working at a supermarket and it has become one of his most famous tracks. Also a favorite among fellow artists, it has been covered most notably by Linda Ronstadt in 1978.
