Floss history 101!
When your little baby should first visit the dentist!
Gum disease is contagious. Cooties are real and in the case of gum disease, you can unwittingly pass the disease on to your loved ones through the simple acts of sharing food and drinks or kissing
Once you have braces, it is a good habit to keep a toothbrush on hand so you can clean your teeth.
What to look out for by the time your baby hits 1 years old!
Did you know?...
Did you know that you can buy floss in just about any flavor?
What foods do you feel sensitive to?
After every meal, rinse with water!
Did you brush your teeth today?
Just a tip if you lose your floss!
Brushing too hard can cause gums to recede. Plaque attaches to teeth like jam sticks to a wooden spoon. It can't be totally removed by rinsing, but just a light brushing will do the trick.
Food for thought...
As the enamel on teeth wears, the yellowish dentin underneath starts to show through. An easy way of reducing discoloration of the teeth is to brush them frequently.
Good Stuff! Who wants to eat?!
Go to the dentist twice a year and your teeth will LOVE you for it!
Are you flossing daily?!
Remember: your teeth can't heal themselves. Schedule an appointment to keep them healthy and strong! (805) 499 - 7676
For the people with braces!
What do you have a sweet tooth for?
Grinding your teeth or brushing too hard may cause this!
