UPDATE: Last night (March 16th, 2020) Gavin Newsome shared additional state-wide restaurant restrictions for California. In particular, the notice advises that Restaurants should be closed for in-restaurant seated dining and should be open only to drive-through or other pick-up/delivery options. To accommodate these new guidelines, we will accept credit payments over the phone and are offering curbside food delivery for takeout orders.

I am writing today in response to the numerous calls we have received regarding Juanita Juanita’s status during this difficult period. First of all, we are open... and are maintaining normal business hours. However, based on Gavin Newsome’s new California guidelines designed to avert the spread of COVID-19 (delivered on March 15th), I have made the following changes to your dinning experience at Juanita Juanita: 1) We are accepting credit payments over the phone and are offering curbside food delivery if requested for takeout orders. 2) If you decide to enter the restaurant, we are asking all customers to sanitize their hands at the Purell station we set up on the left side of the patio door. Please try not to touch the dispenser with your hands. Simply cup your hands underneath the dispenser and a measured portion will automatically dispense. 3) My staff has been instructed to ensure seating arrangements allow for additional spacing between tables. 4) We are also providing paper menus that will be discarded once your order has been taken. 5) We have reduced the occupancy rate in Juanita Juanita by half. As things progress we will keep you updated via this Juanita Juanita Facebook page. We are strong together! Thank you so much for your support!
