Last Thursday, JSerra staff explored campus during a photo scavenger hunt for the annual Holy Thursday Staff Retreat. The day consisted of speakers, breakout sessions, Eucharistic Adoration, Rosary walks, and some small group fun. #lionnation #lionpride #weloveourstaff @ JSerra Catholic High School

Happy Easter Sunday! Today’s final Lenten Reflection is written by JSerra’s President, Rich Meyer. After graduating from college, Mr. Meyer worked in sales until discovering his true vocation as an educator. After completing his graduate studies in education, he and his family moved overseas to Spain where he taught middle school English. Upon his return to the United States, he taught Spanish and English for seven years in Illinois. Prior to coming to JSerra, Mr. Meyer spent... six years as the headmaster at an all-boys college prep school. Today we are blessed with three Musical Reflections: Christ is Risen, performed by Mr. Jonatha Telles, Who You Say I Am, sung by Nini Guerry, and Glory Be to Jesus, performed by the Dominican SIsters of Mary. Today’s Artistic Reflection was created by JSerra sophomore, Callie Schreiber. I love creating art in my free time and I am in the JSerra Arts Magnet Program for the drawing and painting track. I chose an Easter lily to paint for an Easter Sunday Gospel depiction. I always think of Easter lilies during the Easter season because they are so delicate and beautiful and they constantly remind me of God’s beauty and power.
