Hollywood just lost a special one. Sir Sean Connery passed in his sleep at the age of 90. Connery played Henry Jones, Sr. in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, John Patrick Mason in The Rock, Jim Malone in The Untouchables, and of course James Bond in Dr. No. Thank you Sean Connery for the joy you brought to all of our lives on the big screen. You may notice something different today in the Financial District of San Francisco. Some building owners have boarded up their windows as a precaution as we approach Election Day. There is a fear that far left or right extremist could vandalize locations depending on the outcome.

Happy 98th Birthday to my Great-Uncle Dick! In World War II Richard ‘Dick’ Dinning was a pilot and captain in the 351st Bomb Group on a B-17 airplane with the U.S. Army Air Corps. Uncle Dick was involved in rescue missions and in recent years was awarded France’s Legion of Honor for his work. Enjoy 98 Uncle Dick and just know that you are our family hero! Okay looking for opinions. Today Alameda County announced that middle and high schools can open as early as November 9th if they have a safety plan in place. The date for elementary schools in the county was back in October. From what I see all of the schools either open or with a plan are private. Teacher reps from public districts I have talked with say we are still a ways out. Do you live in Alameda County and what would you like to see happen?
