Let me tell you about JPOWERStudio. I've taken many classes there( barre,boxing,spin,and aerial) and that's not even all they offer. This is by far the most f...un I've had working out. The community and instructors encourage growth and are the exact reflection of empowerment. And it starts from the owner Jasmine Powers all the way down the line to every member. I am truly blessed to have this space to be myself, make new friends and to guarantee a challenge each and every time I walk though the door. She discovered the joys of aerial yoga as she completed the Unata Aerial Program and went on to complete additional training in aerial movement to emphasize a flowing mind-body-connection. Jackie has a lifetime of experience in dance and fitness, starting at the young age of 5. Originally from Dallas, she moved to Los Ang...eles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry as a Commercial Choreographer and choreographed countless commercials for kids and toy companies, creating a perfect TA-DA! moment for the camera. Jackie is a Certified Group Fitness Instructor, with years of experience teaching aerobics, dance, yoga, pilates & barre as well as being a Fire Performer, Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Barre Instructor with JPS. In 2009, Jackie became the Studio Director for Hoopnotica Corporation, the leading seller of fitness and dance Hula Hoops based in Venice Beach, CA, taught celebrities how to hoop on a multitude of TV shows and performed on stage. In 2010 she was featured on Good Morning America. Jackie went on to teach Hooping and Circus Arts with Le Petite Cirque, a world renowned circus arts organization for kids and finally learned to fly at Cirque Hale, in Kona Hawaii.
