If you bought a house last month for $700,000 & had an interest rate of 4%. How much money would you save buying that VERY same house at the EXACT same price today, but with a 3.25% interest rate? (See photos below) Answer: $284.91 YOU SAVE PER MONTH! So...let’s transfer that to buying power. Say last month you could only afford a $700,000 house w/a payment of $3,222.55 @ 4% Now what can you afford with the lower rates at 3.25%?... Answer: $765,455.
