Mondays are for visiting my favorite rescued farm animals and delivering/sorting produce from a generous grocery donor in Dixon, CA. Mondays might just be my favorite. This week my parents and Jilly joined me to help sow some wildflower and poppy seeds on the ground around the rest as the earth recovers from the awful fire that swept through our town in the fall. We have many varieties of citrus growing in our yard. This time of year they are a welcome splash of color when I gaze out the window. This begging me to paint them. Sometimes it just needs some splatter to finish it off.
