Spent most of day at studio/office. Had to laugh at myself this morning. Ordered this iced latte. Thought I ordered from a downtown business, but didn’t. Showed up to get my order, and when gal had a blank look on her face...oops! I need a V-8 moment ... ... Have you ever been on auto pilot so much that you made a silly mistake. Don’t take yourself too seriously! It was delicious, but had to get in my car to get it - and was late. Next time ... will take my walk to the other place & make sure I order it from them! Lol

This time of year (after Christmas and before New Years) is one of my favorite times. It’s a time of fresh starts and new beginnings.... Confession: I get cranky when I miss my workouts. You have been warned. The first part of this week had been extra busy (no workout of my own Monday or Tuesday).... My house is a mess; 2 family members not feeling well, the 3rd busy prepping for a trip. Things weren't getting done. Things bug me a lot at home (can you relate? dust, floors, laundry, dishes, unopened mail) - I could not leave a few things undone. Then, I cut it off and made sure I got my session in before YIN Yoga. It was 4:45 p.m. by the time I got it started. My point is this: are you cranky? on edge? It could be a matter of a QUICK FIX!! That is not a pill, not a drink, not a dessert, not a "check out for the day". It is YOU! It is an appointment for YOU! Do not put yourself on the back burner. Find a way to get your movement in - maybe it is just a walk, so what! Get it done! Do something! My mood instantly improved...no more crankiness and the YIN Yoga was the "yummy" conclusion of my day. Today is a new day. Get it done. Your "snap out of it" pep talk is done. Need more help? Message me and let's get rid of the crankiness as a team!

No recipe, just turned a stir fry into a soup for 50 percent of our house has had sore throats and congestion. Spiced it up with all sorts of seasonings. Chicken broth went in first, followed by sautéed veggies and finally chicken marinated in garlic, sesame oil and lo-so soy sauce ... lots of red pepper too. Husband said delicious in text while I was at work. Once in crockpot, put on low 30 minutes, then switched to warm.
