FIRE DOORS INSTALLATIONS PER CALIFORNIA BUILDING CODE. In California the installation of Sliding Glass Doors between existing garage and living area of the premise is not recommended. Sliding Doors look great unfortunately; per California building codes these installations are prohibited as shown on picture. In California at the time of selling a property it is require by banks or whoever will do the finance mortgage to install a FIRE DOOR if there is missing between living a...rea and attached garage. As an homeowner you cannot close escrow if you did not comply with this particular building code. ********************************************************************** A fire door is a door with a fire-resistance rating (sometimes referred to as a fire protection rating for closures) used as part of a passive fire protection system to reduce the spread of fire and smoke between separate compartments of a structure and to enable safe egress from a building or structure or ship. In North American building codes, it, along with fire dampers, is often referred to as a closure, which can be derated compared against the fire separation that contains it, provided that this barrier is not a firewall or an occupancy separation. In Europe national standards for fire doors have been harmonised with the introduction of the new standard EN 16034, which refers to fire doors as fire-resisting door sets. Starting September 2016, a common CE marking procedure was available abolishing trade barriers within the European Union for these types of products. In the UK, it is Part B of the Building Regulations that sets out the minimum requirements for the fire protection that must be implemented in all dwellings this includes the use of fire doors. All fire doors must be installed with the appropriate fire resistant fittings, such as the frame and door hardware, for it to fully comply with any fire regulations. HOW TO BUILD AN EXCELLENT CREDIT HISTORY..... 1- Having credit cards, increases your chances of a high fico score (wrong). You don't need 10 or more credit cards, you just need three lines of credit to establish an excellent credit history. ( a visa, master card, store credit card, a vehicle finance, personal loan etc, etc. 2- Much credit used, increases your fico score (wrong).... Do not use the high limit of your available credit because it badly affects your fico score. Try to use up to 35% of your credit limit, if for some reason you used more than 35%, try to pay back as soon you can in order to maintain as an average the 35% of your total available credit. 3- If I close some credit cards may help ( wrong ). Do not close credit cards that you have for several years of excellent payment history. 4- if I open or apply for new or more credit may help ( wrong ). Unnecessary new credit doesn't help at all. 5- Do not apply for new credit in last 90 days, all credit Bureaus are connected and negatively report on your credit report if you run your credit several times . 5- Lastly, as everybody know, make your payment on time if for some reason when you run your credit and it shows some negative items that may hurting your credit and believe that it is not yours of your fault, you can dispute that particular account through the three bureaus like EXPERIAN, TRANSUNION and EQUIFAX..
