I Fall! #wintersquash you’re my fav. Bring on the warm roasted food, slow cooked stews, cooler air and all that goes with the change in season. I love the #seasons. As much as I love long sunny days, I really enjoy this time of year. It’s time to slow down the pace and enjoy the different practices with each season. Don’t get me wrong short days can be hard but try new ways to embrace the change. How does change in season affect you? I’d love to hear. Tell me in comments bellow. #fall #winter #wintersquash #slowdownthepace #slowfood #paleo #nourishment #mindbodynutrition #healthcoach

Happy Summer Solstice! It’s time to celebrate the light and honor the sun that guides our days. Get out into nature, feel the sunshine, play outside, gather from a garden, swim in a creek or the ocean. Most of all have some #fun! #summer #summersolstice #grateful #intentions #play #nature #outside #light #celebrate

What are your favorite veggies?

P E S T O ! It’s almost summer which means it’s pesto season! I can’t get enough. Who’s with me?! Pesto on everything! There are so many variations from the herbs to seeds, nuts, lemons, limes, rind or no rind... olive oil, hemp oil... even adding super booster foods like seaweed is an option. What’s your pesto jam?! I love dandelion greens and cilantro as a nice combo. Mint, parsley, basil, lemon balm, oregano, thyme, rosemary.... Herbs are loaded with vitamins, minerals and disease fighting phytochemicals. Almost all green herbs have powerful anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. #herbs #pesto #elevateyourplate #elevate #health #holisitichealth #summerfoods #foodasmedicine #antiinflammatoryfoods #antimicrobial #pyhtonutrients #phytochemicals #nutrientdense #seeds #hormonebalance #seedcycling #delicious #nourishment

Perfect for a foggy SF evening! I LOVE roasted cauliflower. Here’s my favorite combo lately: Organic cauliflower , leeks, fennel, sea salt + pepper, tossed with avocado oil and roasted on a sheet pan on 375. Let roast for 10 min, toss then continue cooking for another 10-12 min or until golden brown, top with chopped kalamata olives, chopped homemade preserved meyer lemon, and a generous amount of fresh parsley. OMGoodness this is SO delicious!

P E S T O ! Herbal deliciousness! I use herbal pestos throughout the week to add an extra YUM factor to pretty much anything! I had loads of fresh basil and dandelion greens from the farmers market so thought I’d make some pestos. And while at it I wanted to keep up with the seed rotation for hormone balance, so check these babies out!... Left: Sprouted pumpkin seeds, fresh basil, dandelion greens, garlic, lemon, s + p Middle: Sprouted sunflower seed, fresh basil, dandelion greens, gomasio, 2 nori sheets, garlic, lemon, s + p Right: Sprouted sunflower seeds, toasted fennel seed, toasted cumin seed, fresh basil, dandelion greens, gomasio, nori, garlic, lemon, s +p Anyone else here have a thing for pesto?!
