It isn’t much But it’s free. Food assistance for the Cherry Valley, Oak Glen areas it’s just a phone call away. I will not be dragging the food wagon up the hill because it creates a danger to the fire personnel and everyone involved. Ok this is slightly embarrassing...know what this is? This is 20 years of scrapbooking papercrafting and art supplies I've had stored in my daughterz room since... i moved here almost 6 years ago(dont worry it was in the side of the closet and up above on a shelf) anywho (I'll pretend there isn't even more than this...) We have been contacted by several kind people asking us what we need, or how they can help to make this animal shelter happen. The shortest answer we can give a...t this time would be to tell you what we already have. We have a group of enthusiastic people who would love to see this become a reality, a building with a ton of potential, and support from the community. Aside from that, if you don't see it in these photos (which were taken this morning), then it is needed. There is a ton of work to do, but this facility is sitting on acreage and could be one of the few shelters with the ability to take in livestock. If you would like to help - everything from pet bowls to cabinets to swamp coolers to pet beds, and even artistic talent to repair the mural painting - are all needed We are currently working on a secure location to collect and house donated items, since they can't stay in the building while it's being renovated. We will share that information as soon as we know it, along with a link for our fundraising campaign - which is also in the works. We would like to thank all of the volunteers, as well as the Banning Chamber of Commerce, the City of Banning, Mayor Daniela Andrade, Councilmen Kyle Pingree and Art Welch, REDFOSA, Rio Stone, Redlands Missionaries, Precision Material Handling, Xenia Racing Wraps and many others for all of the help and support so far!
