Learning to charge an EV may seem tricky at first. You have to buy new equipment, adjust to new infrastructure, and probably sign up for new services. This complexity is a huge issue - it scares away potential buyers and makes going electric seem a whole lot more daunting. In reality though, charging your car is simple and can actually be easier (and cheaper) than filling up at gas stations. At Borrow, we want to make driving an EVs as easy as possible for the consumer. Even better, figure out if you can install a faster 240v charger, as it more than makes up for the investment in time and gas savings over time. 2) Note your driving habits: Know how far you normally drive and how much range you'll need each day. Our BMW i3s get around 100 miles, usually enough to get you around town for a few days, especially now that people are spending more time working from home. 3) Plan ahead: Locate chargers near your normal driving routes with services like Plugshare and ampUp.
