CONSTRUCTION COMPLETE ON TORREY PINES HIGH SCHOOL VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS CENTER! Construction completed in April 2019 for the Torrey Pines High School Performing Arts Center. We are the associated architect, theatre consultant, and acoustician for this 350 seat theatre and a 100 seat black box theatre with pipe grid support spaces, dance studio, ceramic and art classrooms which will be LEED Silver Certified. Both the audience chamber and sound stage are completely covered with tension grids.

CONSTRUCTION HAS FINISHED FOR THE AQUARIUM OF THE PACIFIC ADDITION IN LONG BEACH! The construction of Aquarium of the Pacific Addition in Long Beach was completed March 2019. EHDD is the AOR for this 30,025 SF addition. There is an approximately 10,000 SF special effects movie theatre, we are the theatre interior architect, theatre consultant and acoustician. The addition consisting of a 306 seat theatre and exhibit gallery and support rooms. The theatre’s main function is ...as an immersive special effects movie theatre by means of a 180 degree screen, a tilting screen/ stage lift and special effects built into the seats. The design of the theatre includes a control room and a catwalk system. This will allow greater flexibility for small performances, dance, lectures and panel presentations. The acoustical design for this round shape movie theater was very challenging and has received great compliments after built; the tilted up round stage in front of the seating area allows the seating of an orchestra to perform when flat, or projection when it’s propped up. CONSTRUCTION HAS STARTED ON ANTELOPE HIGH SCHOOL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER On May 14, 2018 the construction has begun for Antelope High School Performing Arts Center. This 18,000 SF center has a 570 seat multi-functional theatre, with full support spaces. Both the audience chamber and stage are completely covered with tension grids. This flexible performing arts center is designed to be used by both the school, the community and the churches. The theatre seating is retractable ...and removable which allows the theatre to convert into a flat floor meeting, dining and party space. Construction will be finished in July of 2019.

JSFA WON OUTSTANDING DESIGN AWARD AGAIN Sept, 2018, newly built Indian Springs High School Performing Arts Center just won Architectural Portfolio-Outstanding Design Awards from American School & University a national magazine. The brand new state-of-the art Performing Arts Center just finished the construction in Aug., it’s the crown jewel of the Indian Springs High School which was opened in 2012. The high school currently has about 1800 students, it had been using the Multi-Use Room for performances and presentations for past years. The SBCUSD Board of Education also has begun holding its regular meetings in the new performing arts center since the construction completed

INDIAN SPRING HIGH SCHOOL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER CONSTRUCTION HAS BEEN FINISHED. At the end of this beautiful summer, Indian Spring High School Performing Arts Center has been built. This gorgeous new 19,000 SF Performing Arts Center is made of glass and CMU. It has a 525 seat multifunctional theatre, with full support spaces and an art gallery in the lobby. There will be a black box theatre as a future addition to the center.... Indian Spring High School is the 8th comprehensive high school in San Bernardino City Unified School District. The school was opened on Aug. 1st, 2012. The construction has been finished in August of 2018.

HOOVER MIDDLE SCHOOL AUDITORIUM! The renovation of this amazing auditorium is now complete (before and after).

AGBU SCHOOL THEATRE! Received an AIA AWARD. Architect, Theatre Consultant and Acoustician for the adaptive reuse, renovation and addition of high school church sanctuary into a performance center and student activity center with support spaces. There will be a main theatre as well as a multi-purpose / banquet room with a stage and performance lighting. New dressing rooms, a green room and storage supplement the back stage below. A new kitchen serves the banquets. New ...public restrooms are added to the lobby along with meeting rooms. This building will receive LEED Silver certification and was completed July 2017. Non-profit 7-12 school project.

GRAND SIERRA RESORT! We are the architect for the renovation and expansion of the existing pool of the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV. This project consist of the renovation and expansion of the existing pool deck to a total of 76,163 sf including new tensile structures and new 2050sf utility building w/ full kitchen and gift shop, new 1727 sf restroom building, new VIP pool and spas, new splash pad, recreation sports area and bars.

CONSTRUCTION HAS FINISHED FOR GRAND SIERRA RESORT POOL RENOVATION End of July, 2017 , the newly renovated Grand Sierra Resort Pool has opened to the public. We designed the renovation and expansion of the existing pool of the Grand Hotel in Reno, NV, to add a new pool, jacuzzis, recreation area, splash pad, restrooms, 3 bars and an entry building with a store. The unique feature of the complex is the introduction of a tensile structures for weather protection over the main bar and recliners and transition from the hotel to the entry and to the dressing rooms.

JSFA 2017 RETREAT WE WERE SWEPT AWAY! White water Rafting, a lot of people have heard a lot about it but never done that before. If you are one of them, we suggest you to try it. Because were profoundly enjoy it :-) On June 24, 2016, we went on a white water Rafting adventure in Historic Rio Bravo Ranch, it was sooooooooo much fun!!! Yes, you got wet all over, you had to row hard all the time to keep the boat balanced, some drops made your heart almost stop, but it worth i...t! It was an incredible experience for everyone. This year’s water level is great too. Everyone loves the adventure :-)

CONSTRUCTION HAS STARTED ON CARMEL VALLEY MIDDLE SCHOOL MUSIC BUILDING AND PERFORMING ARTS CENTER RENOVATION On June 19, 2017 the construction has begun for Carmel Valley Middle School Music Building. The music building contains a large orchestral rehearsal hall, practice rooms and instrument storage room. The project also includes the renovation of the existing drama room and performing arts center.... Construction will be finished in May of 2018.

ANTAEUS THEATRE’S OPENING NIGHT By the end of Feb. of 2017, the renovation of the 8,000 sq. ft. Antaeus Theatre was completed. On Mar. 3, 2017, Antaeus Theatre Company hosted the opening ceremony in the newly finished theatre. Antaeus Theatre Company is a non-profit group which was found in 1991, as a cooperative theatre ensemble comprised of classically trained and highly accomplished professional actors, directors, designers, and other theatre artists dedicated to bringing classical theatre to Los Angeles.
