This week I had a great time capturing one of our legacy families. This was a spontaneous family #minisession with just the kids! They were able to run around Leo Carrillo Beach in Malibu and get the sand-between-their-toes. I think we all need this right now. Each one of my family portraits are unique in their own ways. In 2020 we’ve learned that having a smaller celebration is just as memorable & beautiful as a larger celebration. In my career as a professional photographer some of my most favorite events have been intimate settings. Having a smaller event may have it’s sacrifices but one thing that shouldn’t be sacrificed is the photography. The imagery is your keepsake. With my style and approach to my art I’m able to get up close and personal with my lens. My gear brings me closer while I’m able to distance myself physically. Throughly enjoyed my time yesterday with the #StayHomeWithLeica Series on Landscape & Lighting. I spoke about and shared my technique on stitching my very unique step focused landscape panoramas and couldn’t be happier with the response. : : I had a very special guest join in, rather, totally commandeering his way into the Galaxy.
