Joe's Legacy Rescue

With a heave heart, I wanted to let you know Comet crosses over Rainbow Bridge at 11:30 am today. I took him to our favorite vet and the vet noted that with his eye, he must be in excruciating pain. He said it was time to let Comet go to Heaven. My favorite receptionist came in and was with me as we let him go. It was peaceful. The receptionist and I both kept petting him and kissing him. He had a good life with us and I wouldn’t trade that time with him for anything.

Comet’s foster contacted me that he injured his eye overnight. The vet said he will see Comet today. Comet isn’t eating or drinking. I will update after the vet visit. It doesn’t sound good. Please no bashing.
