Episode 3 of UPRISE I spoke with two brilliant circus artists who participated in the 38th Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain. This is ba...sically circus’s version of the Olympics, and those who go are world-class talent. Korri Singh Aulakh is an incredible Swinging Trapeze Artist, and Marco Motta is an amazing Straps artist. What is so interesting about this episode is that they come from completely different training backgrounds - Korri went to École Nationale de Cirque (ENC) and Marco trained on his own - and yet they have A LOT in common. They share their VERY HONEST opinions about Cirque de Demain and what changes they hope to see in the circus world. I feel very lucky to be able to get to know them, and they’re both just genuinely good people with really interesting insights on the circus industry. The stories in this video are insane (you’ll get what I mean when you watch the video) and I hope their experiences/thoughts/opinions may be heard LOUD AND CLEAR, so please feel free to share this video with your colleagues, peers, friends, and family through social media or through private messages.
