Nobody will ever love you like an Artist can. On your worst days they will find poetry in the knots of your hair. What an amazing way to close out 2019. This lovely family brought grace, beauty, and all the love imagineable. And that winter sky after the rains set the tone for a beautiful grand finale to such an incredible year of growth, discovery + so so much good. Those who don't believe in magic, will never find it. ~ Roald Dahl There is nothing like capturing your dear friend's family in such a magical place. Utah exceeded all my expectations and these sand dunes were otherworldly, like out of my wildest dreams. I will always be forever thankful for the places this role has allowed me to visit.... This beautiful Mama Stephanie Tetreault is a dear, cherished friend and incredibly talented photographer out of Sacramento. I am continually grateful for the friendship, belief, laughter and insight she always gives me. Here are a few favorites of her precious family I am honored to call friends.

This family brought all the love + charm to their fall sunrise session, that light and those autumn tones are giving me life on this chilly Saturday morning. It is seriously so amazing to watch my families grow....I met this lovely clan when I documented sweet Atlas in her belly. This Mama and I styled her family together and the outcome was perfection! Never underestimate the power of styling to help tell your story and make your imagery everything you envision. And I will be there every step of the way holding your hand.

We got home at 1 AM this morning after our long drive home from Utah and although I’m exhausted, my heart is seriously so very full. Loving on all the beautiful women who came to explore and grow with us filled my heart and affirmed my love for teaching this Art. What a true gift. Thank you to all the incredible souls who came to our Dream Makers Retreat in Zion and to the two teachers who believed in me, Stephanie Tetreault and Stormy Solis. I have a million images I could s...hare but for now, sleep and rest and loving on my babies is calling my name. I can’t wait to share more but wanted to start off with some favorites images of the talented Lauren Hodges and her family. They drove all the way from Texas with her precious family to model for my sunset shoot and it was beyond a dream, forever grateful to her. I feel like these images capture everything I love in a photograph...dreamy movement, sun kissed skies, true connection and beauty, that love of Motherhood and a dream of hope wrapped up in true poetry. I left Zion with new dear friends and so much inspiration and a clear, strong vision for this love of teaching photography. See more

I feel like it just oozed Lex and her unique style and vibe. I am so grateful for this night, it totally inspired me to keep telling those unique stories of Motherhood and let my clients just shine.
