I am so incredibly proud to make this announcement on 1/20/2021! Compassionate Sacramento and Compassionate Capital Region presents the Sacramento General Congress of Women's exhibit at the Crocker Art Museum entitled - Activism through the ARTS. August 6th - October 31st with the Reception date on Tuesday, September 21st - The UN International Day of Peace. This will commemorate the 10th year of work in our community. 13 women are getting ready to create something very special and YOU are a part of it! Sacramento is the City of the Sacrament and one of the definitions of sacrament is: An outward expression of an inward grace. Let's show the world who we are Sacramento. #GivingTuesday is an INCREDIBLE blessing to aide us on our mission: Healing Hands, Healing Hearts seeks to support traditional medical care by providing massa...ge, comfort and connection for the body, mind, and spirit of the critically, chronically, and terminally ill. We are putting the focus of #GivingTuesday towards the funding of our Alfred J. Goularte Veterans Care Program., in honor of my Dad. Through this program we honor the ‘everyday’ men and women who have bravely served our great nation in its greatest times of need. It is our goal to provide comfort, care, and connection to our Veterans who suffer from critically, chronically, and terminally ill conditions, including PTSD related disabilities. We embrace a vision of supporting Veterans in their journey, seeking complimentary and holistic healing of body, heart, mind, and soul. Also offering them training in some of these practices that will help prepare them to be there for each other in ways that sometimes only another Veteran can understand and relate to. We also provide therapeutic massage which helps individuals relax, calming the mind and helping with the body’s aches and pains. The physical contact approach is not the only resource available from our care team. We also offer additional services. Many of these can be combined with the Conscious Touch session if appropriate to the situation: Angelic Reiki HeartMath Compassionate Conversations CHILL Sacramento Reiki CranioSacral Orthobionomy Energy Release Pranic Healing Compassion of Natural Healing Aromatherapy Hypnotherapy Trauma to and within our bodies may present itself in many forms and at many levels. Our bodies are meant to be in a natural state of homeostasis. When the body is in harmony, the being is at peace. We offer a variety of tools to support people in managing their own selfcare and wellbeing.
