Congratulations to all the 8th graders and good luck in high school! Special recognition goes to Catherine Hung (pictured here with 8th grade Assistant Principal Adam Nelson), who was the only 8th grader to have perfect attendance for the three years she was at JLS!

Friday, May 31st is the last day of school! It is a minimum day and school is dismissed at 12:25 PM. 8th grade promotion begins at 5:30 PM on the JLS field. Graduates should be at JLS by 4:45 PM lined up in the driveway between JLS and Fairmeadow.

6th Grade Formal Lunch was a success! Almost 300 students dressed up and had a sit down Italian lunch. Thanks to the teachers for organizing this event and the parent volunteers.

We appreciate our parent volunteers! JLS would not be the same without our involved parent community.
