This weeks feature is JX Jer-Z-Boyz Pattern 65078 {4} VG-87. Not only was she one of the highest appraised first lactation cows last fall, she is also making an impressive first lactation record. Sired by Waunakee Pattern, and her dam by Wilsonview Jevon Magnum. Behind is a Multi-Rose Irwin Logic, Hawarden Implus Premier, Sunset Canyon Apparition and Sunset Canyon Maximum. She combines all of the many of the best brood cows in the business and no matter how you study her pedigree, the best in Jersey breed are represented.

Jer-Z-Boyz Chrome 66065-ET VG-81 is this weeks feature. This 4th generation VG is one of the many reasons Chrome will have a lasting impact in our herd and on the Jersey breed. One of our highest PTA Type (+1.9) and JUI (+21.5) females in the herd, she also sorts right to the top of the 1.5% JPI lists for type and udder index as well. She will be a 4th generation over 4.0% protein when she completes her first lactation. Pregnant to Archie, she's made a few trips to the IVF lab to allow us to expand on the growing family line.

Jer-Z-Boyz Spitfire Meryl 49608 {5} is EX-92 and a second generation EX. She has been a weekly feature before and after Monday's preg check, we thought it appropriate to update you on her two trips to the IVF room. 49608 is pregnant first service to Thrasher and now has 18 IVF pregnancies by Gislev, Goals-P, Jadyn and Hole In One. In addition, last test day was 106 Fat Correct Milk and making another incredible record. Truly a cow to build a family on.

We are thrilled that this cow is performing at top speed. Building on her genetics is becoming an exciting adventure.

It’s implant day an 46 embryos will make their way into recipients. Another 21 have been frozen for next week. The excitement of creating unique and exciting genetics is why we love Jersey cattle.

She's a KNOCK OUT! This polled daughter of 614JE758 is VG-88 at 1-10 after being fresh at 1-08. Her ME after this test is 22490 and over 5.0% fat. She is averaging 107% relative value in the herd and will hopefully venture over to the IVF lab in a few weeks. Her dam is by Critic-P followed by a Valentino Fire. We look forward to her genomic results coming back to see what her DNA suggests.

Passed the test! Evaluation days can shake things up a bit from time to time. We are thrilled to have 4 homebred in the top 20 of the breed and 2 more with Jer-Z-Boyz breeding behind them. The polled list is even more exciting to see. Our prefix holds its own amongst the giants in the Jersey Breed.
