Tomorrow June 20th, is the first day of summer! I am sure we will soon all start feeling like dried out cacti in the middle of a desert sometime soon. Although we're not open yet, keep cool because it won't be long before we get to welcome you all back!

In this picture you can see pieces of farming equipment that were used when this was a working ranch. Farming brought food and security to the ranch.

If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music Albert Einstein. Music is a beautiful thing, isn’t it?. The piano pictured here belonged to Mercedes Alvarado in the late 1800’s and can still play music today! Schedule a tour this Saturday May 16th and take a closer look at the ranch. We’ll be open between 10 a.m. and 4 pm. Entry is only $4 for adults and $3 for kids. If you would like a guided tour for $5 per person, call us at (951) 369-6055! P.S. What is your favorite song to play on the piano? Comment Below!

At home in quarantine? Take 10 minutes to watch this video about how Cornelius Jensen prevented an outbreak of smallpox in 1885. The site is no stranger to infectious diseases. This was a sad, but enlightening, chapter in the history of the site. #COVID19 #Coronavirus #quarantine
