Hey there YLC’ers! YLC Vice President here sharing my mood change from a high BG level. 1. Remember it happens 2. I’ll feel better in 2-3 hours 3. Move on from it The unexpected in life happens (we are currently living a prime example of that) and so does BG levels! Sometimes I do everything right to have the perfect BG levels yet, I’m STILL HIGH. Something I think of with every high blood sugar is that we are so fortunate to be able to detect the high and correct it within 2-3 hours. Many chronic conditions unfortunately don’t have that ability but we do so I choose to focus on the power that we do have. I’d like to know how you get through those moody highs?

#Repost @jdrfsd IMPORTANT NEWS - As of today, anyone who has commercial insurance, or no insurance, can purchase their monthly prescription of Lilly insulin for $35 through the Lilly Insulin Value Program. Link in bio.
#Repost @jdrfhq with @get_repost JDRF welcomes Eli Lilly and Company's introduction of a co-pay card that allows anyone with commercial insurance, as well as those without any insurance, to purchase their monthly prescription of Lilly insulin for $35 or less in out-of-pocket costs. This is a critical step for the #T1D community during the #COVID19 pandemic. Affordable insulin access is more important now than ever. At JDRF, we’ve long advocated for low and predictable out-of-pocket costs for insulin. We’re urging other insulin manufacturers to immediately take actions similar to Lilly’s. We want these actions to become long-term solutions so people with T1D have the insulin they need to stay healthy while we work urgently for cures. Learn more at the link in our bio.
