Rash of Break Ins It has been brought to our attention that there has been a rash of break-ins throughout the Salton Sea communities. We would like to advise everyone to remain vigilant in looking out for our neighbors, as well as your personal items. A car was reportedly stolen in the Vista del Mar area during the past week, as well as suspicious people being seen throughout the area!

Attention Parents! If your child is showing symptoms of being sick, then they should not be attending school at the learning center! Should your child have a runny nose, cough, fever, vomiting, or rash; then they should be at home until 24 hours after they no longer have symptoms! If your child is in Middle or High School, they can continue to work from their home. If you have an elementary student, then you may pick up your child's work after 12 o'clock (noon) that afternoon. Please help us maintain a healthy classroom! Thank you!

Student Highlights of the Week! Oscar Ramirez is a ninth grade student at JBdA. He is still unsure about his future, but he would like to be a professional athlete. He currently enjoys playing video games with his younger brother when he isn't working on school work. When asked what he likes best about the JBdA program, he responded that he likes the way the program is set up and doing the classes in the order that he wants to. Whatever you decide to do in your future Oscar..., we hope you do it well! Delaney Barclay is a seventh grade student at JBdA this year. She has hopes to become an FBI investigator! When she isn't working hard on her school work, she enjoys riding dirt bikes, playing softball, and participating in outdoor sports. Her favorite part of the JBdA program is the flexibility to do other things that she enjoys while maintaining her grades. If she were to pass on any wisdom to younger students, it would be to take lots of notes and remember to concentrate. See more
