On Stage, We Joined Lucy Topete (Sculptor), Edgar Zapata (Great-Grandson), And Many Other Clubs That Do Awesome Work On Campus. _____________________ Gen. Emiliano Zapata was the leader of the Southern Liberation Army in the Mexican Revolution. He fought for the people’s right of land & agrarian reform, less national government interference in favor of localized rule, indigenous culture, and overall respect of his people. _____________________ If There Is Something To Learn From His Legacy & Carry On, It Would Be To Remember That We Don’t Stand Down, We Don’t Stay Quiet, & We Fight For What Is Right By Our People.
