Public health officials now require Californians to wear masks or cloth face coverings in most settings outside the home. Along with the protections and protocols we have in place for our client's safety, we will be wearing masks during client visits, and ask our clients to do the same. We appreciate your cooperation.

We realize this is a difficult time for everyone right now, and getting your affairs in order, even for temporary incapacity, might be something you are thinking about. For our clients' health, safety and well being, we have a plexiglass barrier, single use ink for the notary thumb prints, individual pens not touched by us, hand sanitizer and alchohol wipes. We are also santizing the office regularly.

COVID-19 Update To our clients, friends, and colleagues: in light of Governor Newsom's most recent Executive Order, until further notice, all client correspondence will occur by phone, text. or email. We are handling document signings on a case by case basis, depending on each particular client's situation. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these trying and unprecedented times.

COVID-19 UPDATE **UPDATED 6/19/2020 To our clients, friends, and colleagues - on March 18, 2020, the County of Solano issued a shelter at home order. To comply with that order, until the order is lifted, we are modifying our office practices as follows:... In person visits will be limited to essential services that require clients to sign documents. All other communication will be electronic (by phone, text, or email). Per the order, essential legal services are those services "necessary to assist in compliance with legally mandated activities." In my professional opinion, matters before a court, or services that relate to a possible court matter, fall within the definition of legally mandated activities. As such, services related to estate plan signings, trust administration, and matters currently in court, qualify as essential legal services. Within our office, we will continue to sanitize surfaces between client visits, maintain distance as practical within our office space, and in person meetings will be limited to clients only - non-client family members or friends will need to stay home, or drop off / pick up clients as needed. *6/18/2020 Public health officials now require Californians to wear masks or cloth face coverings in most settings outside the home. Lastly, we have always made house calls for clients, and we will continue to provide house calls for meetings requiring client signatures, as our availability and our clients' availability may permit. As many experts have noted, if everyone cooperates in taking measures to minimize the transmission of pathogens, together we can minimize the negative health consequences related to coronavirus. We will continue to do what we can to serve our clients in a safe and reasonable manner.

To our clients, friends, and colleagues - in light of the rapidly evolving COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking steps to minimize the risk of spreading coronavirus. We are avoiding large gatherings of people. In our office, we are sanitizing surfaces between client visits. During client visits, we are maintaining as much physical distance as is practical within the confines of our office space. Also, for clients who prefer to consult by phone rather than in person, we are happy to provide phone consults as appropriate. Finally, for clients who need to sign documents but prefer to avoid going out, we have always made house calls, so we can arrange a house call as needed, subject to applicable shelter in place orders. We are monitoring the situation as it continues to develop, and we will adjust our practices as necessary to do our part.
