Hi Beautiful! What happens at one of my Personal Branding Content photo sessions, and why do you need to do this? Do you have a photo of yourself that looks like you on the best day of your life and, oh yeah, you are wearing something really cute too? And if by chance you DO have one...do you have another 40 images that you feel the same way about? Look, I totally know the resistance about doing this!... I didn't even do it myself until a couple of years ago, and then I GOT IT, and why it's super important for your confidence and your business. I've had the experience of being the CLIENT myself, so I remember how how I got ready for my shoot, and now I prep my clients the same way! Even if we book a shoot together this week, we are not going to shoot it this week! I like you to have at least 1 week to a month to prep for a shoot, so that you can get your hair and nails done, work out, get a lot of sleep, drink a lot of water, and stop drinking wine! Second, like to discuss and source the wardrobe ahead of time. I want to know what outfits you are coming in with so I can coordinate backgrounds and locations. Don't worry, we get that wardrobe consultation nailed down! If you don't think you are photogenic and are concerned that you don't know how to act in front of the camera, DON'T BE! Nobody does! I will coach you on posing, I've had years of experience doing this with clients who are not professional models. I give clear instructions and we practice in front of the mirror before you step in front of the camera. Besides that...it's super fun! And don't we all need a bit of FUN after everything we've been through this year? I got excited about photography early on because I loved to connect with PEOPLE. Over the years I have photographed all kinds of things, events, products, and humans. I found out early that shooting food or products wasn't for me, I wanted to be with people and help them tell their story. So I started shooting rock stars (for real), headshots for actors, portraits, and weddings, which is one of the hardest gigs you can do, but where you learn how to work in all kinds of situations. Now I love shooting Personal Branding photography, where I shoot images for my clients that help them tell their story to their audience. And I do primarily shoot with women, because most women don't even have one shot of themselves that they like, much less one that they are proud to show off.
