Defendant the Montebello Unified School District (MUSD) completed the second #deposition session of the Plaintiff. At this time two sessions have been completed at the Regus location at the Regus-Cerritos Town Center, 17777 Center Court Drive, Suite 600, Cerritos, CA 90703. Due to travel issues associated with Plaintiff's ...Multiple Sclerosis the deposition is being taken in Cerritos rather than at MUSD's attorney's office in Carlsbad, County of San Diego. October 29, 2020: U.S. Department of Justice: The agreement resolves allegations brought by the former head of quality control at Guild Mortgage Company, Kevin Dougherty, under the qui tam, or #whistleblower, provisions of the False Claims Act, which permit private parties to sue on behalf of the government for false claims and to receive a share of any recovery. The Act permits the United States to intervene in such a lawsuit, as it did in part here.
