I've adored oil cleansing since I first learned about it over a decade and a half ago. The entire process of massaging oil into your skin to break down impurities and clean your skin was and still such a beautiful practice. What I didn't love about traditional oil cleansing methods is that you'd have to use washcloths to remove the oil and you were left with oily towels to clean later. The mess was always a deterrent for me when oil cleansing my face and often times felt like... a second cleanse was necessary When developing the Bare Face Cleansing Oil, I foraged for a plant derived solvent that would allow the user to rinse off the oil cleanser like a basic cream or gel cleanser.
