Inland Valley Hope Partners

Pomona Fellowship Church of the Brethren is in the process of relocating, and they have items in their church that are looking for new homes before May 22! The list includes pews, folding tables and chairs, bookshelves, kitchen stove and vent, upright piano, portable sound equipment, and more. A donation to the church for any item purchased in consideration of its worth would be greatly appreciated.

Volunteers Needed! Hope Partners has a big gleaning volunteer opportunity for anyone interested in helping us to fill up our food pantries. Hope Partners' mission is to salvage (or glean) backyard fruits and vegetables from local and neighboring communities. We then deliver to our food pantries to those in need. There are limited volunteer spots available. If you are interested in helping us to glean oranges on April 10th, 9 am-12 pm, please call our volunteer coordinator, CC, at 909-622-3806 ex. 108 or email [email protected].

Our wonderful volunteers did an amazing job picking oranges and lemons at a local resident's property. They picked about 3,012 lbs of oranges and 875 lbs of lemons. Wow! What a great way to start the week. Amazon.com has blessed Hope Partners by #deliveringsmiles to our organization. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Survivors of domestic violence often find themselves homeless after leaving their abusive relationships. In fact, domestic violence is a leading cause of homelessness among women and children. Survivors of domestic violence come to Hope Partners for our housing programs. We help them secure and maintain safe housing while also receiving counseling services, financial management services, and many other services.
