My clients in Santa Barbara sent me this picture of the new staircase we built. They love the look and how the shadows fall under the new LED lights. I am so glad they are happy.

Finishing the stonework on a custom see thru fireplace on Westlake Village project. The area to the left will soon be a wine room. Pretty nice.

So this was quite a crazy day. We installed this huge beam inside of a clients house in Westlake. It took 15 framers and 4 lifts to get it done. Everything went well and client is extremely happy. Back tomorrow to finish detail work and clean up. The stressful days always end up being the most fun at the end.

Lets give Andrew at Brighten Sheet Metal some credit for not only climbing the chimney stack, but the steep slippery roof to get there. Looking for possible water leaks but none found today.

I spent the last couple hours drawing up plans to submit to the Calabasas Building and Safety Dept. I'm not very good at it, but it's fun when I have the time.

Started demolition on a remodel for my friend Jim yesterday at his home in Oak Park. Even Jim got into the act tearing out his own counter top.

A good morning at my Simi Remodel. A day or two of pick up work and framing and we will start drywall early next week.

Doing a little interior remodeling for some friends in Simi Valley who bought a beautiful house. We are making a separate living space for Mom and putting in a new powder room. Had some structural complications but now we are moving full steam ahead.

Preparing my new remodel in Santa Barbara for my men next week. I love starting new projects. You can't beat the drive up the Coast either.
