Hello!! We are Itty Bitty Mini Horse Encounter and Sanctuary! We are Edith& Ernie! You can meet our minis in our photo album section! We currently have 8 miniature horses & 3 miniature donkeys. We offer a mini horse/donkey encounter for YOUR special event! We do the following events: -Obstacle Course Parties -Educational Tours... -Parades -Photo Shoots -School Visits -Hospital Visits -Unicorn Encounter -Volunteer Event -One on One Therapy Sessions -Learning Videos! -and MORE! * To book and event please contact us directly! We occasionally rescue miniatures horses/donkeys from feedlots and surrender situations. After the minis have spent time with us and they are healthy mentally and psychically we try to find them a forever home or they will remain forever residents.We are always welcoming and VERY appreciative of donations to help support our minis that need help! It was another special day at the Itty Bitty Sanctuary. We'd like to give a Big Thank You to the girls of Troop 2074.Our Itty Bitty staff was very impressed with these young ladies. We hope they created memories to last a life time. Special thanks to Stevie for contributing her artistic talent.

Another Happy Ending Meet Barbie & Baybe These two girls were rescued from a Kill Pen in Texas by my side kick Vendy.The girls arrived in absolutely terrible shape. They were malnourished and very weak. Baybe arrived lying down in the trailer. She didn't want to get up, because she was so weak. Vendy realized she was in bad shape. She gave her some words of encouragement and was able to get her up and into her nice, new, warm stall.Vendy also noted the advanced state of ne...glect their feet were in. Now after months of hard work, excellent care and lots of love from Vendy. These girls have made an incredible transformation. The before and after pictures helps one to realize, just how far they've come. They are so beautiful and really sweet girls. May they never experience neglect or abuse again. Happy to Itty Bittys very own St. Patrick's day baby Gemini! She turned 1 years old today. We are so lucky to have this little girl at the sanctuary with us, she's smart, feisty & full of fun. We love you Gemi!

"IT'S A BABY" Itty Bitty has some special news. Our first Itty Bitty Baby was born this morning. Vendy Clark, my partner in crime and one very special lady helped facilitate the rescue of 2 pregnant mares from Kill Pens. Momma Lily was dumped at a kill pen in Oklahoma and Snowball dumped at a kill pen in Arkansas. Two very scared and tired mommas arrived at 1:00 AM last night. Vendy welcomed them with open arms, two nice warm stalls and all the love she could give, to... calm them down. When Vendy went to check on them this morning, much to her surprise, she was welcomed by this little bundle of joy. Momma Lily had a safe place to have her baby and not at a kill pen. A special Thank You to Dr. Katie Nenneker (Dr. Nenn), she was able to pay a visit to evaluate and care for both mommy's. Momma Lily has some really bad trauma to her left hind leg. She is severely lame and has many scars on her body. She also has a big scar on her forehead. It looks like someone took a hammer to her head, or possibly stab wounds. The abuse these little horses endure is heart breaking. WHY ?? On a brighter note, we have named this little guy Jay Jay, in honor of a very special man in our lives. He is #1 in our book. Our second momma to be is soon to give birth. Stay tuned for the next baby. Thank you Vendy for caring so much, to open your heart and your home to these Itty Bitty minis. Vendy is a valuable and talented addition to our team. Our mission of saving horses from Kill Pens can be emotionally draining. Vendy embraces the challenge. I look forward to our future endeavors together With rescue comes cost. With all the medical care, kill pen & transportation fees that is required for saving these 4 lives.
