Irving Street Projects 15.11.2020

It has been such a privilege to host Kate Haug's project "If All of This Were Silence" over the past three months! Please join us for The Big Take-Away, the closing event, this Saturday 1-5pm. As part of her project, Kate invites visitors to dismantle her installation by taking away what they like from the exhibition’s collection of books. You read that right- TAKE THEM AWAY. Free books. Add to your personal library! A huge THANK YOU to Kate for her impactful work here at ISP... and at 826 Valencia over the course of the project. Thank you also to our wonderful San Francisco State University student intern, Marley Hale, for help holding gallery hours and welcoming visitors into the space. Thanks to everyone who participated in the 'Audio Exquisite Corpse' by adding their voices to the project, and to the San Francisco Arts Commission for their support. Hope you can join us!

I find facebook less and less effective at getting the word out for our events at ISP- they constantly ask to be paid to reach the audience that already likes and follows this page and that's in addition to the profits they make from selling the data collected here. I'll still do my best to keep this page up to date, but if you want to make sure you receive the info- sign up for our mailing list! I send maybe one or two emails a month and we have great events and projects coming up.
