It was a frustrating day. The shoes I was so excited to get came in the wrong size. I couldn’t get OPC to load the new class, but I worked out anyway. I took these 30 minutes for myself even though I couldn’t watch a video, I knew what to do. My head is clear as I go to teach the next online class. Thanks for your inspiration.

Get your green on! Green leggings, green leg warmers, green Toe Sox! I pulled it ALL out! Green is spring and I love it. Here is the update I promised you: We are cleared to do one-on-one training and groups as long as we wear masks, can maintain distancing, and no physical contact. I can fit four people in the studio spaced that far out. I will be working on some spacing stickers this weekend and will put the classes on the schedule. Well, I woke up "on the wrong side of the bed" this morning. But I got going and I came to the studio and worked out. What a difference some sweat makes! Good news! Tomorrow there is a briefing about gyms and fitness studios that I will be attending. Things are changing and people are getting vaccinated, but please, PLEASE, continue to be safe and thoughtful. I'll let you know what happens tomorrow!

I have been teaching and studying Pilates for just over 17 years and I am still learning and striving. I had a client ask me once, "When you learn all the exercises, aren't you done?" I laughed. No, I am not done. I learn different things from different teachers that are also learning and growing. My body has CHANGED in these 17 years! I heard recently, "Do the best you can, with what you have, where you are." I need to post that on my forehead!

Maria Leone is my teacher trainer and mentor. Her creativity has always awed me. This may not be "classical" Pilates, but her knowledge of the classical work, dance, and martial arts informs her movement and it always feels organic to me. Put down a circle and trap a cat. And this is a MAGIC circle! I have equipment at work and equipment at home. I work out in both places and I teach from both places. I am doing whatever it takes to teach you what I know. Come move with me!

Thanks, @carareeser for getting me this far. Holy cow! Doing a headstand was never on my to-do list. But, if I do each little step then my body and brain are ready--at the same time! Maybe it's not a to-do, but it might become a can-do!
