Patients that are not feeling well:... Dr. White and Dr. Chua are now able to conduct telemedicine consultations for our patients. If Dr. White or Dr. Chua feel you meet CDC criteria, we can order COVID 19 testing or begin treatment your symptoms. If you develop emergency warning signs for COVID-19 get medical attention immediately. Emergency warning signs include: Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath Persistent pain or pressure in the chest New confusion or inability to arouse Bluish lips or face *This list is not all inclusive. Please consult Dr. White or Dr. Chua for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning. People who are at higher risk from severe illness: Some people may be at higher risk of getting very sick from this illness. This includes: Older adults People who have serious underlying medical conditions like: Heart disease Diabetes Lung disease (COPD | Asthma) Patients with Asthma & COPD: People with asthma and COPD may be at higher risk of getting very sick from COVID-19. COVID-19 can affect your respiratory tract (nose, throat, lungs), cause an asthma attacks and COPD exacerbations, and possibly lead to pneumonia and acute respiratory disease. What To Do if You Are Sick: Stay home except to get medical care. If you have a serious underlying medical condition Wash your hands often. Avoid close contact (6 feet, which is about two arm lengths) with people who are sick. Put distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community. Clean and disinfect frequently touched services. Avoid all cruise travel and non-essential air travel. Call Dr. White or Dr. Chua if you have concerns about COVID-19 and your underlying condition or if you are sick. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to call or office.
