Homeowner Protections Extended Through December 31, 2020 Earlier this month, the President signed an executive order urging the Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) and the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to use whatever resources available to prevent foreclosures and evictions for homeowners and renters experiencing a COVID-19 related hardship.
