Fame at last for the world’s forgotten female composers! A database of female composers has been launched in France. It features 4,662 works dating back to 1618. CARES Act funding: National Endowment for the Arts announced today its guidelines to swiftly distribute funding to nonprofit arts organizations from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act to preserve jobs and help support organizations forced to close operations due to the spread of COVID-19.
