The result of a DIY patio cover roof.

See the smoke coming off the top of the bathroom door? That is from the heat lamp directly above. This lamp was on less than one minute before the smoke started rising. While the door can be closed away from the lamp, do you think this is a fire waiting to happen? I do!

Floor registers are fine, but if an owner installs a wall register in a floor location, it is not strong enough to support foot traffic or furnishings. It will get damaged, or worse, could permit step-through and injury.
