February 18th, 2015. Join us for our Monthly General Membership meeting from 6:00-8:00p.m. (Dinner will be Served) Our speaker this month will be: Marilyn Stoner, PhD, RN, CHPN she will be speaking about 'The Silver Hour' - The Silver Hour is my model for end of life care across the health care delivery system. It is the metaphorical 30 minutes before and after death. During this sensitive time clinicians should do everything they can to ensure the patient and family have a peaceful death given the circumstances. There are many experts who have worked for years in end of life care. My work focuses on care of the imminently dying person and their family and using evidence as well as information from the arts to guide the deliver of care.
